Aint No Waitin in Algoma is a music documentary profiling the impact of e-health on the massive H1N1 vaccination campaign in Algoma in the autumn of 2009. This video is: 1. A memento to Algoma Public Health staff, volunteers and board members and to stakeholders to celebrate and remember an important episode in public health in Algoma. 2. Intended to advocate through media channels for the adoption and effective use of e-health in the future in the interest of more optimal health and healthcare everywhere. All media venues which will educate politicians, bureaucrats and consumers about the impact of e-health will be utilized to promote the development and broad use of e-health. The national media in Canada became aware and took an interest in Algomas lack of lineups in its massive H1N1 vaccination clinics in the early, intense days of the vaccine programs in Canada. There was a very noticeable difference between Algoma and the rest of the country. The Toronto Star urged in December 2009, when H1N1 was over, that what happened in Algoma should be studied. E-health in Algoma and other working models in existence should be studied to move this important technology forward.
